1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by Capellini Transport & Reinigung to private and business customers. These services include, in particular, removals, transport services, furniture transport, cleaning services, end-of-tenancy cleaning, domestic and maintenance cleaning, window cleaning, clearances, disposal services and agreed assembly and disassembly work.

Individual agreements contained in quotations, order confirmations or other written arrangements take precedence over these GTC.

2. Quotations and Conclusion of Contract

Quotations are non-binding unless they are expressly designated as binding. An order becomes binding as soon as the customer accepts a quotation or order confirmation in writing, by email, WhatsApp or another verifiable form, or requests that the agreed work be carried out.

The quotation is based on the information provided by the customer and, where applicable, on photographs, videos or an inspection. If the scope, quantity, accessibility or other material circumstances change, the agreed terms may need to be adjusted. The customer will be informed accordingly.

3. Prices and Billing

Only the prices and terms individually agreed in the relevant quotation or order confirmation apply. Additional services or services requested at a later stage may be charged separately by agreement.

Additional third-party costs such as parking fees, parking permits, tolls, storage costs, disposal fees, special materials or other agreed expenses may be charged separately unless otherwise agreed in the quotation or order confirmation.

4. Customer’s Obligations to Cooperate

Before placing an order, the customer must fully inform Capellini Transport & Reinigung of all circumstances relevant to the performance of the work. These include in particular:

  • exact collection and destination addresses;

  • floors, lifts, stairs and carrying distances;

  • access and parking facilities;

  • the number and type of items to be transported;

  • particularly heavy, bulky, fragile or valuable items;

  • required disassembly or assembly work;

  • special cleaning requirements;

  • any other circumstances that may affect the workload or safety.

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer must ensure that the premises and transport routes are accessible at the agreed time and that all necessary keys, permits or access authorisations are available.

5. Removals and Transport Services

Capellini Transport & Reinigung handles the goods with care and uses suitable protective and transport equipment depending on the order.

If the customer packs the items, the customer is responsible for ensuring that they are packed safely for transport. Open, unstable or inadequately packed items may be rejected for safety reasons if suitable protection cannot be provided.

Particularly valuable, fragile, heavy or unusual items must be expressly disclosed before the order is placed. These include, for example, works of art, antiques, safes, pianos, large aquariums and particularly valuable electronic equipment.

Cash, securities, jewellery, personal documents, medication and similar personal valuables should generally be transported by the customer unless expressly agreed otherwise.

6. Furniture Assembly and Disassembly

Assembly and disassembly work is carried out with appropriate care. The customer must inform us in advance of any known damage, missing parts or special constructions.

In the case of older, previously damaged furniture or furniture that has already been assembled several times, existing weak points may become apparent during disassembly or assembly despite careful work. Capellini Transport & Reinigung is not liable for damage caused exclusively by material fatigue, pre-existing damage or unsuitable construction.

7. Light Fittings and Other Electrical Work

Assembly work on light fittings is carried out only to the extent permitted by law. Work on electrical installations that requires a special authorisation or qualification under applicable Swiss regulations is carried out or arranged exclusively by appropriately authorised specialists or partners.

8. Cleaning Services

The scope of the cleaning work is determined by the quotation or order confirmation. Additional services, exceptionally heavy soiling or work that was not apparent or disclosed when the quotation was prepared may be charged separately after consultation with the customer.

The customer must inform us of sensitive surfaces, special materials, existing damage and specific care instructions where these are not readily apparent.

9. End-of-Tenancy Cleaning and Handover Guarantee

A handover guarantee applies only if it has been expressly agreed in the quotation or order confirmation.

Where a handover guarantee has been agreed, Capellini Transport & Reinigung will rectify, within a reasonable scope and without additional labour charges, cleaning-related complaints made by the property management company or landlord that fall within the agreed scope of cleaning.

The handover guarantee applies exclusively to cleaning services. Repairs, normal wear and tear, limescale or material damage, permanent discolouration, structural defects, renovation work and services outside the agreed order are not covered by the handover guarantee.

Complaints should be reported, where possible, during the property handover or immediately after they are identified so that prompt rectification is possible. Statutory rights remain reserved.

10. Clearance and Disposal

Disposal work is carried out in accordance with the agreed quotation. Fees charged by disposal facilities, special disposal services or additional quantities may be billed separately unless otherwise agreed in the quotation or order confirmation.

The customer confirms that they are authorised to have the items handed over for disposal disposed of. Hazardous substances, chemicals or other materials requiring special disposal must be expressly disclosed before the order is placed.

11. Appointments, Delays and Force Majeure

Every effort is made to meet agreed appointments punctually. Unforeseeable events outside the control of Capellini Transport & Reinigung, including significant traffic disruption, accidents, extreme weather conditions, official orders or comparable events, may cause delays.

In such cases, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and a reasonable solution will be sought.

12. Changes and Cancellations by the Customer

Appointment changes or cancellations must be communicated to Capellini Transport & Reinigung as early as possible.

Whether costs are incurred in the event of a short-notice cancellation, and the amount of such costs, is determined by the individual quotation or order confirmation and by costs already incurred or binding commitments already made, for example for reserved vehicles, personnel, materials or third-party services.

Any specific cancellation policy agreed in the quotation or order confirmation takes precedence over this general provision.

13. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in the quotation or invoice, payment is due upon completion of the service. Payment may be made using the payment methods offered at the relevant time, in particular by bank transfer, QR invoice or cash.

If a payment term has been agreed or specified on the invoice, that term applies. Statutory rights remain reserved in the event of late payment.

14. Liability and Damage

Capellini Transport & Reinigung is liable, within the limits of the applicable statutory provisions, for damage caused by a culpable breach of contractual obligations.

Liability for damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, inadequate packaging by the customer, pre-existing damage that could not be identified, material fatigue or circumstances outside the control of Capellini Transport & Reinigung exists only to the extent that Capellini Transport & Reinigung is legally responsible for such damage.

Liability for intent or gross negligence is not excluded.

Any damage identified must be reported to Capellini Transport & Reinigung as soon as possible and, where possible, documented with photographs so that the circumstances can be investigated and, if applicable, reported to the insurer. Statutory claims and time limits remain reserved.

Where insurance coverage exists for an order, its scope and handling are additionally governed by the applicable insurance terms. Any additional insurance coverage is provided only if expressly agreed.

15. Use of Employees and Partners

Capellini Transport & Reinigung is entitled to use suitable employees, assistants or specialised partners to carry out an order where this is appropriate or necessary for the agreed service.

16. International Transport

For cross-border orders, mandatory statutory and international regulations also apply. The customer must provide the information and documents required for the transport in good time.

Customs duties, import charges, official fees and comparable costs are borne by the customer unless expressly agreed otherwise in the quotation.

17. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law. Further information is available in the Privacy Policy at www.capellinitransport.ch.

18. Applicable Law

Swiss law applies. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction, in particular those intended to protect consumers, remain reserved.

19. Final Provisions

If any provision of these GTC is wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The applicable statutory provisions replace the affected provision.
